RAM and HomePod screen exposed

Little by little details of what will be the new speaker of the Cupertino company are being known, the HomePod. The details of this smart speaker are coming in a drop and it is that they explained many of the functions of the equipment during the last WWDC, but as usual we did not have details of its internal specifications.

Now thanks to its source code and the developers who have access to it, interesting details of the hardware are being seen, such as the only GB of RAM that adds this speaker or the LED screen with a resolution of 272 × 340 pixels.

The good thing about having these leaks by the developers themselves is that they are really true, they are not rumors or possible options that the team could have so we can confirm the LED panel with the aforementioned resolution, the A8 chip that Apple itself confirmed and 1GB of RAM.

After watching the video it seems that the LED panel only will offer the vision of the Siri logo as we saw in the presentation of the speaker in the month of June and maybe some Apple animation since third-party applications cannot be installed in this speaker, so there is not much more to say about it. In the case of the only GB of RAM, it is enough for a speaker and the rest of the specifications as we already know them, but if there are interesting news in the code of this we will share them.

There's a long way to go before the launch of this HomePod and we're all right now more pending the launch of the new iPhone model, but Apple does not leave out the rest of products.
