For a couple of years, Apple has given us the possibility of being able to record both the screen of our Mac and that of our iPhone, iPad or iPod touch without having to resort to third-party applications through the QuickTime application, but sometimes according to our needs we can be fair.
In the Mac App Store we can find different applications that allow us to record the screen of our Mac, but we are talking about one in particular: Screen Capture & Recorder, an application that has a regular price of 9,99 euros but for a limited time we can download for free through the link that I leave at the end of this article
The Screen Capture & Recorder application allows us to record our Mac screen at native resolution as long as it's not 5k, so the maximum resolution at which we can record the screen of our Mac is 2880 x 1800 in models with a retina screen of 2560 x 1440 in models without a retina screen
This application allows us record screen at 60 frames per second, which will offer us greater fluidity in the content we record. When it comes to recording audio, the application allows us to simultaneously record both the sound of the application (ideal if it is a game) and from a microphone connected to our Mac.
When it comes to recording the screen, Screen Capture & Recording offers us three modes: full screen, an area of the screen, or an application window. Once we have made the recording, we can edit and cut it directly in the same application so as not to have to use other applications if we do not have the need to add inputs to the video, text effects, curtains ...
This application is ideal to be able to record those videos that are in some web pages that they do not allow us to download it directly even by making use of extensions.
