Apple launches a new update for the Remote Desktop client and thus reaches the version 3.9.0 that adds a major improvement. The improvement is none other than the solution to several problems related to the reliability, use and general compatibility of the application and other novelties for the new MacBook Pro and its Touch Bar. In this case, it reaches version 3.9.0 and we had already had a long time time without an update for the Remote Desktop client, so it is recommended to update as soon as possible.
This update is recommended for all Apple and Remote Desktop users, we can find it directly in the Mac App Store or in the Apple's own website. In this case, the rest of the improvements implemented in version 3.9 are:
• Computer lists, complete with credentials, can be exported to an encrypted file and restored to other viewers
• Enhanced security, with an optional compatibility option to support older clients on the Security tab in the Preferences panel
• Assistive cursors available through a custom item on the toolbar
• Support for the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro
This tool allows us to have control of our machine remotely and it offers a lot of options in itself, it is about more than seeing our Mac desktop from outside the office. The new version released by Apple adds a good handful of changes and therefore we recommend the installation as soon as possible if you do not have automatic downloads activated.
