Resize images and convert them to other formats with ImageSize

We are at the time of year in which many of us are users who have vacations, we have had them or we are going to enjoy them a little later, when the solo does not press so much. Thanks to our iPhone, most of us are going to use our phone to capture all the most important moments of our vacation, pTo later organize them respectively, create an album..

When it comes to sharing them on social networks, many of us are not interested in sharing the image in its original resolution, because of the time it takes to upload or in case someone want to use it for other purposes without our consent. But we can also see the need to convert them to other formats, to be able to use them in other applications for example. This is where ImageSize is our ally.

Thanks to ImageSize, we can batch convert all our images to other formats in addition to being able to change their resolution to a lower one, either to be able to share them jointly by mail and occupy less, or to have an extra copy on our device so we can show them to our friends. ImageSize allows us to convert from JPG, JPEG, JPE, JP2, JPX, PNG, TIFF, TIF, GIF, BMP formats to the following JPG, JPEG, JPE, JP2, JPX, PNG, TIFF, TIF, GIF, BMP formats.

Unfortunately, it does not allow us to work with images in RAW format, which can become a problem for all those who only work in this format. When converting to another format or a lower resolution, the application allows us to keep the EXIF data, something that very few applications allow today. Also nallows you to rename the files when we make the conversion, to make it much easier to locate them in the future, but we intend to classify them by folders.

ImageSize has a price in the Mac App Store of 4,39 euros, but it is likely that right now it is available for free, at least it was when I wrote this article, a few hours before its publication. Requires macOS 10.10 and a 64-bit processor. The space it occupies on our Mac is less than 5 MB and is only available in English.
