The Twelve South iCurve is back, a Mac stand with a curved base

Twelve South has become in recent years one of the main manufacturers of accessories for Mac with great success and above all quality. The guys from Twelve South just presented a new stand for the MacBook Pro called Curve, a booth with a curved design at the bottom that seems to pay homage to the design of Apple's new offices, Apple Park. But this design is not new, since the company launched in 2003, a similar model made of methacrylate and whose aesthetic is far from being the one shown by the new Curve.

Twelve South's new Curve stand offers us two padded arms that hold the MacBook Pro without covering the opening of it at any time. The currently available model is matt black in color and made of resistant aluminum. As usual in this type of stand, the situation of the MacBook Pro in this stand is ideal since it is designed so that the MacBook Pro can be kept cool at all times when we need its maximum power.

This type of stand is commonly used when our MacBook is connected to an external monitor and a keyboard with a mouse / trackpad, which allows us to work more freely. Although it is designed for MacBook Pros, obviously also we can use them with other laptop models from the Cupertino-based company. Curve is available today through the following link in addition to Best Buy stores for $ 49,99 plus tax.

Release we can find other models from other manufacturers, more expensive and cheaper. HiRise offers us an aluminum model that does not seem to show much support of the MacBook Pro. Amazon, for its part and within the range Amazon Basics, offers us a horrendous support that has a price close to 20 dollars.
