Rumors appear about a configurable e-ink keyboard for Apple

We are at that point that some rumors about possible changes for Mac 2018 they must be taken seriously and in this case some of these reports indicate that Apple will be working on the implementation of fully configurable keyboards by the user.

In this case it is not about removing and putting the keys by hand, it would be an electronic ink keyboard in which the user would be able to configure the keys to their needs. For now, this report comes after the meetings and Apple's election for the purchase of   the startup Sonder Design Pty LTD.

The medium in charge of spreading this news about the meetings of the CEO of Apple Tin Cook himself, with those in charge of S0nder and Foxconn has been the recognized The Wall Street Journal. In this case, what would be applied to keyboards is the implementation of an electronic ink screen in the lower part of the keyboard and in each key a personalized configuration could be offered for the use of each maquero.

This keyboard offers the possibility to add symbols, special characters, change from Spanish to English keyboard configuration or even configure emojis. In any case what we have is a rumor that is not confirmed by anyone and for now what Apple offers us similar to these is the possibility of configuring the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro. In this case it is about something totally different since it would be the keys that would add the configuration option.

Apple warned in the last WWDC and months after the launch of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro 2017 that this year 2018 the Mac family would receive all their attention and in this case it is what we expect.
