Safari Technology 110 now available for download

Safari Technology Preview Update 101

Apple has just made available to all users who regularly use Safari Technology, version 110, Apple's experimental browser that was launched 4 years ago on the market, in March 2016, and in which Apple does all kinds of tests on functions that may or may not reach future versions of Safari.

The latest available version of Safari Technology Preview is number 110, as I have mentioned above, a version that includes performance improvements in WebRTC, web authentication, web animations, Web APi, CSS, rendering, accessibility, Javascript, text manipulation, security and the web inspector mainly.

This new update to Safari Technology Preview does not introduce any new features that developers can try out, but rather a simple regular update. This version of the experimental Safari browser is the basis for the current Safari 14 included in macOS Big Sur, which offers support for web extensions imported from other browsers, tab previews, security breach notifications, Touch ID support, and more.

Version 110 of Safari Technology Preview is available for both macOS Catalina 10.15 and macOS Big Sur 10.11, the new version of Apple's operating system that almost completely renews the traditional design that has been with us for almost 19 years.

If you want to download this new version, if you have previously installed a version of this browser, you can do it directly from System Preferences. If not, you can do it directly from this link. This browser is ideal for web developers since it is not focused solely on application developers and we can have it installed together with Safari, since they are completely independent.
