Safari Technology Preview 8 adds the code for Apple Pay

Safari Technology Preview

Yesterday afternoon Apple got up to date on the beta versions of its current operating systems except for watchOS, which at the moment there is no beta for a while. In addition to the different beta versions it was also updated Safari Technology Preview 8, with the improvement or implementation of the code for Apple Pay.

This experimental browser that can be used by anyone who walks by Apple Developer Center downloading directly without the need for a developer account, the month of March started and little by little the different features offered by the company are added, such as Apple Pay.

In this new version 8 in addition to the typical bug fixes of the previous version and that are related to JavaScript, CSS, WEB APIs, improvements in the web inspector, support for more multimedia formats, security, networks and accessibility, Apple payment support is added, coming to macOS Sierra 10.12.

This option that appears in this browser will not be operational until it is actually launched on the different websites that have already accepted payment through Apple Pay, but it is significant that it already appears in this preview version of the browser.

If you want to use this browser we already say that anyone can do it. If you already had it installed on your Mac, now you can update to the latest version released directly by accessing from the Mac App Store> Updates, where the new version 8 will appear. The pity is that despite this line of code about payments with Apple Pay, it is something that will arrive after the summer and obviously in Spain it is still not available for the moment.
