Scammers try to steal Apple accounts with fake emails

SCAM ITUNES. STEAL

Over the years, scam attempts through emails, also called SCAM, occur more frequently than we think. Apple for its part does not escape these hacking networks.

In this case, it is about emails that some users of the Apple ID requesting that, once redirected to a page that appears to be from Apple, we verify our accounts.

Normally when scam or junk mail reaches our inbox we usually identify it very quickly because they tend to come in English. In this case, the scammers have been concerned that everything is in the language of the person they want to scam. Also, they are spoofing the input address so what we really see is that they come from itunes@apple.com

SCAM MAIL 1. STEAL

SCAM REDIRECTION. STEAL

SCAM MAIL 2. STEAL

As we can see in one of the emails that is reaching users, the tone with which they address it is not the one that Apple normally uses. In addition, the address to which it redirects when we click on the link that they tell us does not belong to Apple at all. We have been able to locate an image of a second variant of this type of email that takes us to a new link that also has nothing to do with those from Cupertino.

Be very careful with the emails you open and the links you click because as long as the scammers have your account credentials they can make purchases of all kinds and see all your personal data.
