Looking for an Apple-1? Next May 20 they auction one

The mythomaniacs of Apple, usually try to acquire and talk about all the devices that have ever passed through their hands, to over time create an important collection. One of the devices that has gained popularity in recent months is the original iPhone, the first model to hit the market in 2007, and which has been 10 years old this year. This terminal, within what it fits, still has an affordable price for many users. However, if we want to expand our collection of Mac computers, things get complicated a lot, especially if we want to get hold of some of the first models that hit the market for up to 40 years.

In 1976 Steve Wozniak created the Apple I, or Apple-1, being the first computer of the company of which 175 units were sold. Currently, there is only knowledge of the existence of about 60 in the market, becoming a rare collector's item and whose price will be much higher than the $ 666,66 it had at that time.

The next 20 of May, German auction house Breker to auction an Apple-1, a complete Apple-1, including the user manual, motherboard and cassette recorder and a phone recording between Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. The price of this device according to the latest auctions of similar models can be close to a million dollars perfectly and without getting messy.

Here is a list of the Prices from previous Apple-1 auctions, in the same songs as the model that will be auctioned on May 20.

  • June 2012: $ 374.500
  • May 2013: $ 671.400
  • October 2014: $ 905.000.
  • October 2016: $ 815.000.

As we can see in the video where the auction of this Apple-1 is announced, the state of it is impeccable, implying that it has practically never been used.
