Select which browser or email application to use when clicking on a link

Many are the users who only use a browser and an email application when using their Mac. However, as is my case, I use different browsers on a daily basis (Firefox and Safari specifically) as if I speak of mail applications (Mail and Spark).

When opening a link in each email client or browser, depending on the use and reason why we use one or another application, forces us to have to copy and paste in the respective browser the address. However, if this task has become one of the reasons to stop using different applications, today we present a solution called Bumpr.

Bumpr - Open links in different browsers

Bumpr is a simple application that is installed on the system and allows us to select which browser or mail application will open each and every one of the links that we press, depending on the type. In this way, we can open certain links in Firefox or Chrome while others can be opened in Spark or Mail.

This function is also ideal if we do use of different Gmail accounts in each browser, to test the operation of a website in different browsers, limit the functionality of functions on web pages ... it all depends on the use you can give this application, surely you can find some more than those I mentioned.

A curious function, which surely many users will appreciate is that it allows us establish which web pages we want to always open in a specific browser. In this way, you can open Facebook in Firefox, access to your bank in Safari, work documents from your Google account in Chrome ...

Bumpr has a price in the Mac App Store of 4,49 euros, a more than reasonable price for what it offers us, especially if we are one of those users who usually use more than one browser on a day-to-day basis.
