The pioneer company in the manufacture and creation of LCD panels has just presented a new monitor with touch capacity, 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) and IGZO technology that also integrates full support of drivers for use with OS X.

It also includes the ability to use a stylus with the capacitive type . The price is surely prohibitive today but in return we will have a monitor full of possibilities aimed at a more 'professional' audience.

In reality, the panel itself is not a novelty since it was presented at the beginning of the year at CES in Las Vegas but it is now that it has been revealed that it will include the aforementioned support for use it in touch with OS X.

These drivers will supposedly be available for download about a month or two after this monitor is released. Another of the most striking characteristics is that thanks to the reduction of components involved in using the IGZO technology A thickness of just 36 millimeters has been achieved plus an included stand that allows the monitor to easily slide between two viewpoints depending on the application: vertically to view content on the monitor or from a lower angle to write on the screen and interact with the touch screen.

Thanks to the Macotakara.jp website, it has been possible to see photos like the one that accompanies these lines with the touchmonitor connected to a MacBook Pro running as a demo for the attendees of Ceatec Japan 2013 this weekend.http: //www.youtube.com/watch? v = dxI0bq3NVm0 The truth is that for professional use in the form of presentations I imagine that due to its ergonomics and practicality it will have to be quite comfortable
