Today we will see one of the three applications that we had for free last weekend on the Mac App Store and that right now we already warn that they are not. I hope you are one of the lucky ones who read us over the weekend and downloaded some of the applications we saw.
The one chosen to watch today is SinglemizerWe can say that it really is an interesting application for our Macs and also that it is not the only one that does this type of task of eliminating all kinds of duplicates, there are quite a few that perform this function in the Mac App Store, this is one more.
Well, once downloaded and installed it is very easy to use, we just have to click on the downloaded application and we will will open a window like the one we show in the image below:
Click on the + symbol which is in the lower left part of the window and we can now add the folders we want or simply the ones we think contain duplicate files.
Once the folder is chosen it will be shown in the main window and we just have to click on Scan and automatically the application will perform a scan of all files that contains the selected folder and will show us the duplicates on our entire Mac.
In the case of finding a duplicate file, we can eliminate it completely by clicking on 'Delete Irreversibly' It also allows us to replace it and leave only the original by clicking on 'Replace With Link to Original' or send the duplicates directly to the trash with the option 'Move to…' which also allows us to place them in a specific folder that we assign to see what to do later with the duplicates. Select the files and proceed with the option we want.
It is a good application to clean our Mac of duplicate documents or files and that we will find on the Mac App Store today for € 4,49The only bad thing we can say about it is that it is not in Spanish, otherwise we did not find any negative points.
Easy to use and intuitive is what we ask for in this type of application.
