Singular Software has just announced that the public beta version of its DualEyes program for Mac is now available, an application that takes videos with poor quality audio and high quality sound recordings and synchronizes them for use with almost any editing software video.
The company already had a more powerful application, the professional version "PluralEyes", for Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro for Mac, but DualEyes is designed for individual productions. All original media files remain intact, DualEyes only analyzes the files, compares the native audio from the high quality audio file and generates a new synchronized video file.
The DualEyes public beta is free, and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. You can get more information and download for free if you want DualEyes for Mac from HERE.
