Auctions of Apple items, which have passed through the hands of Steve Jobs, or any other item and / or product that is part of Apple's history has a sentimental and collector's value for some people. A few days ago, we informed you of an auction that included T-shirts and other typical Apple merchandising items.
At the beginning of February, we talked about another auction of an Apple-related item, specifically a pair of sneakers with the Apple logo, a pair of sneakers that went up for auction earlier this month and which have finally found a new owner, an owner who has had to pay almost $ 10.000, $ 9.687 to be exact.
History of Apple sneakers
Where did these sneakers come from? This merchandising object was not used by any of the founders of Apple, but was one of the promotional products that Apple distributed among its employees in the 90s. The shoes that have been auctioned, are size 42 and a half, are used as can be seen in the attached images and are kept in an acceptable condition. The shoes have the classic six-color Apple logo on the outside as well as on the tongue.
The Apple-related objects that have been up for auction and that have reached the highest figures are the Apple-1, a model that reached the figure of 900.000 dollars a few years ago at a public auction. Recently, another Apple-1 was auctioned for $ 460.000, a much more reasonable figure (within what is possible) than what was paid a few years ago.
Marketing materials, business cards, signed magazines, T-shirts, photographs and other minor items, they do not usually exceed$ 10.00 at the best when they go up for auction.
