The HomePod is already on sale in a very, very reduced list of countries while the Siri assistant that lives inside it for now only speaks in English and understands English. It is the first time that Apple will make use of said demotic application to update one of its products. You can update as many HomePods as we have in the house and it is that in the application we will see a different icon for each of them.
It should be noted that you can configure automatic updates and forget about it.
