Sorry Apple: Disney + anticipates its premiere in Europe

Disney+

We have been publishing news about the Multiple Premieres Coming On The Newly Released Apple TV + Video Platform. It began its journey at the beginning of November, with the chimera of offering the viewer only content produced by the same company.

And I say chimera because it is very difficult to try to gain a foothold in the competitive market for video-on-demand platforms. And even more difficult, if you intend to do it only with your own productions. Today we learned that the new Disney + platform will arrive in Europe earlier than expected. Another setback for the takeoff of Apple TV +.

Apple TV + has since its inception in early November without competition from Disney + in Europe. Today those of Micky Mouse have announced that they advance their release date in the old continent and it will expand to different European countries ahead of schedule.

Disney + is off to a spectacular start in the United States, collecting almost 100 million subscriptions during its first two months of life. Its mobile application alone has been downloaded more than 41 million times.

This spectacular success is very likely to be similar when it opens in Europe. It will be a severe setback for its competitors, especially for Apple, at startup times of its new video platform, with its very limited product catalog.

Disney + presentation

Apple hasn't leaked how many people actually use Apple TV +. The results surely should not be as expected. And of those who use it, how many percent pay the monthly fee, and how many are enjoying their programs by taking advantage of the free promotion of the year, as is my case.

Disney confirmed today that the premiere of Disney + will be on March 24, one week earlier than originally scheduled. And it will come with very competitive prices, and a spectacular catalog.

The monthly subscription in Spain will cost 6,99 Euros and the annual one 69,99 Euros. It can be viewed on four devices simultaneously. I leave it there. Okay, it is somewhat more expensive than Apple TV + (in theory, without sharing the account), but there is no color in terms of content.

Apple TV + only has its own content, of its own free will, still very scarce in its infancy. Disney lands from day one with its entire own catalog, plus those of Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic. There is no color.

The success of Disney + is more than assured. I have the proof here at home. When I debuted my iMac at Christmas, I got the free Apple TV + promotion of the year. I told my family (they were unaware of the existence of the platform released in November), and we have seen three series. Instead, the kids have already asked me several times when Disney + opens, and five minutes ago, they just marked March 24 on the kitchen calendar.

100 million subscribers? Really? Let's see if we stop reading tabloid media and read real information. That's the figure that Disney + wants to have in two or three years at the earliest.
Also, is the entire Disney catalog there? Your entire own catalog?
The headline thing ... Do you really think Apple cares about Disney?

You have been comfortable after writing so much nonsense and falsehood.
