Spark for Mac is updated to version 1.2.0 with some cool improvements

The mail manager Spark is updated to version 1.2.0 today with some interesting improvements that we have to take into account. Many are the users who are not comfortable with Apple's native application and are looking for alternatives for managing emails, Spark, has been available for Mac since last November 2016 (owned by Readdle Inc.) and has become popular among some users after succeeding on iOS. In any case, today we will see the news that is added in this email management application for Mac, which is also available for iOS and in both cases free.

The first thing we are going to highlight about this new version released today is that it adds support for labels with different colors, smart filters that allow us to locate emails in a faster and easier way (with a more natural language) and solutions to possible problems of the previous version as well as improving the stability of the application.

  • Introduction of labels. To activate them go to Preferences> enable 'Show labels in the list.'
  • Better folder management to put order in the inbox. Choose the folders shown in the sidebar and reorder them by dragging and dropping
  • Color labels, Recent, Favorites and Smart Folders with filters
  • An email counter has been added for our folders. This function will be especially useful if we are using mail rules to sort the mail. To activate this function, we go to Preferences> Number of messages for other folders> New emails / All emails.
  • Smart search is improved and draft emails can be saved manually
