Year after year, with the arrival of summer, Apple prepares its summer camps Las Retails for children between 8 and 12 years old. The training sessions will be developed in blocks of three days in which the children will learn to use programs with Apple devices.
Last year these training sessions were focused on iMovie for OS X and iOS, however, this year, in addition to iMovie, it will touch also iBooks Author.
As Apple has done in previous years, it is once again offering free summer camps for ages 8 and 12 at its Apple Store stores. The training sessions will focus on film projects with imovie and interactive storytelling with iBooks Author. Each session will last 90 minutes, so that the little ones will be able to enjoy a total of three classes of this time.
The iMovie workshops will provide lessons on making projects with iMovie for Mac to which original soundtracks created in GarageBand for iPad will be added. For his art, classes with iBooks Author for Mac will teach children how to draw illustrations using an iPad and how to add sound effects as well as multi-touch effects. The third day of each camp will end with the display of the finished works.
