Little by little we know which applications will be adapted in order to take advantage of all the advantages that Touch Bar gives us. So far we have FCP, Terminal, GarageBand, Maps, iTunes, Calendar, Djay Pro or Photoshop, as well as the applications in the iWork suite
But after learning that Logic Pro X will adapt to Touch Bar, many music composers are in luck. The news comes to us from a source close to the company: Apple is working to adapt Logic Pro X with the intention of taking full advantage of all its features.
It is to be expected that the base of the implementations, is what was presented in the last keynote regarding the application GarageBand. We would have shortcuts to functions y the direct application of certain effects or plug-ins on top of the track currently being edited. In the words of Apple itself, in the last keynote it talks about the ability to "Touch the Touch Bar to quickly adjust the sound of instruments and effects or adjust the volume of a track".
Still, we think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of Touch Bar performance, as the different customizations that will allow us to carry out, perhaps the most relevant. It will allow us to choose which elements are used most frequently, to be in a way a very important advance in productivity.
On the other hand, and with the intention of knowing more in depth what elements will be available, we can review the presentation of the application Djay in the last keynote and know its interaction with touch Bar. You can watch the video below.
The application received a major update last summer, but tell you that Apple keeps the app fresh with an average of 2-3 new features per year. The application can be purchased at a price of € 199,99 in the Mac app Store.
