Currently we have different ways to keep all our contacts saved thanks to the tools that Apple offers us. Despite this there are users who still do not make backup copies of the Mac and much less of the contacts or important data, something that we strongly discourage.

In principle you we recommend always using Time Machine backup and then if you want you can use this application or similar ones to make more copies, but do not leave the documents, files, photos, contacts and others without a backup since you may have a problem and lose everything.
