Although the sentence of the headline at the head of the article may seem somewhat lapidary, it does not mean that they are really unhappy, but simply that the tools that have come into their hands they are not what they expected in terms of freedom to be able to develop more complex and therefore better applications. For now, many of the applications that are created for the Apple Watch will only work if the watch itself is connected to an iPhone in tethering mode since otherwise by itself it could not work, something that reduces the functionality of the Apple Watch itself. Simply put, the Apple Watch is simply an additional monitor connected to your iPhone and cannot do anything by itself… As we have seen so far, the Apple Watch without an iPhone is actually nothing more than a useless toy.
Even so, from my point of view it is a new product that opens a new line at Apple and therefore has to spend some time for it to begin to mature, so effectively the first applications will not take full advantage of the device but only time will tell if it really is what we all expected.
