Apple continues to expand the number of devices where you can enjoy Apple TV +, the last to do so is the Nvidia Shield TV, an Android-based set top box that already allows you to enjoy Apple's streaming video service. At the moment, Android devices still do not have that option.
The application, available through the Play Store, allows us to enjoy all the content available on Apple TV + in 4K HDR quality. It is also compatible with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, so we will also be able to enjoy the highest video and sound quality even if it is not an Apple TV 4K.
The Apple TV app allows Nvidia Shield TV owners to stream any movies or TV shows that are available in the app, just like they would on their Apple devices.
In addition, it allows us to control playback and access to content directly through the Google assistant, a hands-free function that many users will undoubtedly appreciate.
The Apple TV app on the Nvidia Shield TV + provides access not only to your personal library of content purchased from the iTunes Store, but also to everything that is available with your Apple TV + subscription, including hit series like "Ted Lasso," "The Morning Show," "For All Mankind," and "Servant," plus movies like "Greyhound," "Palmer," "Wolfwalkers," and more.
In addition, in countries where it is available, we can also access third-party video services such as AMC +, Paramount + or directly from the application itself installed on the device. Lastly, the software supports personalized recommendations based on your viewing history.
Despite being available in the Play Store, the application is not available for any Android device, only for the TV models managed by Android TV and now the Nvidia Shield TV range of devices.
