In August of this year, we told you that Apple had taken the decision to replace Phil Schiller with Greg Joswiak as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. Not for anything special, but because Phil had made the decision to lead a less busy life with fewer work commitments and to spend more time with the family. Now, the company has made it official and the change is already listed on the company's website.
In August, when the Greg Joswiak change was announced, Apple did not set a specific date for when the change would actually occur. Nevertheless updating the Leadership website at least it gives the impression that the transition has taken place recently. In her new role, "Joz" reports directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Since joined Apple in June 1986, Joz has played a pivotal role in the development and launch of some of the world's most beloved consumer products. This includes the original iPod and iPhone. Joz began his career at Apple working on the first Macintosh computers and supporting the third-party Mac developer community.
greg joswiak He has more than 30 years of marketing and management experience at Apple. Most recently as Vice President of Product Marketing for Apple. Joz graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1986.
Meanwhile, in his new role as a member of Apple, Schiller will remain responsible for leading the App Store and Apple events, but you will not be involved in marketing decisions.
