It seems that little by little we are realizing the importance of climate change and what this can mean to generations after ours, although it is true that not everyone thinks the same about this issue, it is important that large companies like Apple are aware of it.

Wind energy is one of the cleanest energies that we have today, although it is true that in some environments they damage the landscape it is important to bet on it. In this case, in the hills of Dao County in Hunan Province (China), you can see the huge blades of the turbines of the Concord Jing Tang and Concord Shen Zhang Tang wind farms, in part with the money contributed to the unique investment fund of its kind in China called China Clean Energy Fund.

Apple and 300 of its suppliers in China will jointly invest nearly $ 2022 million by XNUMX with the aim of developing projects that will produce one gigawatt of renewable energy. The three wind farms located in Hunan and Hubei will generate approximately one-tenth of the total estimated power of the project. These two clean energy projects, along with another 38 megawatt park developed by Fenghua Energy Investment Group Co., Ltd. in neighboring Hubei province, are the first investments of the China Clean Energy Fund.

Apple's Vice President of Environmental, Social and Internal Policy Initiatives, Lisa Jackson, explains the importance of these parks and how good it is to contribute money in this matter:

I am very excited to see that these projects have been completed and are already bringing clean energy to the electricity grid. We are proud that the suppliers participating in the fund share our commitment to developing innovative energy solutions, reducing emissions and combating climate change. We are confident that these programs can serve as a model around the world to achieve our goal of exclusively using clean energy. The projects in China demonstrate all that can be achieved when innovative companies, governments and people step up to tackle climate change.

By your side Yuyu peng, director of the DWS Group that is in charge of the management of the China Clean Energy Fund, explained in a statement:

We are very happy to be supporting developers like Concord and Fenghua. The projects in Hunan and Hubei are yielding very positive results. In addition to adhering to China's renewable energy targets, they enable our fund partners to collaborate on different clean energy projects.

This type of investment is always positive both for the firm itself and entities that make the donations, as well as for the health of our planet. Making the transition to clean energy can be complex, especially for smaller companies. Thanks to its volume and scale, the China Clean Energy Fund will offer its participants the advantage of having greater purchasing power and the possibility of obtaining more attractive and diverse clean energy solutions.
