Even the church accepts donations through Apple Pay

If they tell us this a few years ago, we don't believe it ... Apparently the Church in the United Kingdom is adapting very well to new technologies and to demonstrate it they have begun to accept donations from your parishioners by paying in Apple Pay. This is something new for the more than 16.000 churches that have already caught up in this regard and accept donations through Apple devices.

In this sense, it is interesting to see how they have adapted to new payment methods and first tests are being carried out in some 40 churches in the country to see how the operation is and the response of the users, if all goes well for this year they will begin to be implemented in more churches until they are standardized in all of them.

The increasingly modern church

In this sense, we cannot say that the church does not renew or adapt to new technologies, in many they have already put aside the CDs and have gone directly to USB for music at mass and the like. In this sense we find it interesting see the response to the payment method through Apple Pay of its users, since most of the church attendees are of a high age, but these donations also include companies, baptisms, communions, weddings, etc ...

In general we can say that in this way it is avoided to say that "I don't have cash" when you attend a mass or similar, almost everyone has a smartphone and with it the payments through Apple Pay and who knows if in a while with other similar platforms, they don't shy away from donating. Curious news at least.
