The first public beta of macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and tvOS 11.1 is now available

MacOS High Sierra

The Cupertino guys began the first round of betas yesterday after releasing the final versions of the operating systems they have been working on in recent months. First, and as usual, the first beta of macOS High Sierra was intended for developers. 24 hours later, the guys from Cupertino have launched the same beta within the public beta program, specifically version 10.13.1, so that all those users who are part of this program You can already start to enjoy the improvements that this new version will bring us.

But it was not the only public beta that Apple launched yesterday, since it also made available to users of the tvOS public beta, the beta of the first major update that will arrive in the coming months of tvOS, version number 11.1. As it's usual, Apple has not detailed the improvements that will come from the hand of these versionsas you've used the typical string of performance improvements and minor bugs.

It seems that the final version of macOS High Sierra has come a little half, since does not offer support for Fusion Drive discs, an Apple invention that has not finally succeeded in the market. These hard drives at the moment are not compatible with the new APFS format, although they were in the first beta that it launched on the market.

Another problem we find it on OWC SSD drives, disks that are not currently compatible with macOS High Sierra, so they do not allow installing the latest version of the operating system for Mac. As with the problem with the Fusion Drive disks, Apple says it is working on solving these problems compatibility so that affected users can enjoy the new file system.
