We want to be transparent and communicate openly with our professional clients, so we want them to know that the Mac Pro will be a product for 2019. It is not for this year. We know that there are a large number of customers who today are hesitating between buying the iMac Pro or must wait for the Mac Pro to be launched, so you have to be honest with them and advise of the dates for the new desktop.
Usually Apple did not often make these types of comments to the media about launches of new products, but as it happens in many aspects things change and making statements of this type are good for the user, in this case for professional users who are eager to see this new Mac Pro.
Apple wants to do a little more research on the needs of the professional sector and it really is not a bad thing that they delay the launch considering that they have a really incredible iMac Pro in terms of power.
