MagSafe technology was one of the interesting novelties that Apple presented along with the new generation of iPhone for this year, a technology that allows fix the iPhone to the charging base in order to avoid getting up in the morning and finding ourselves with the surprise that it has not been loaded as it has moved slightly.
Along with this technology, Apple introduced a series of accessories in the form of cases and wallets. But in addition, it also presented a dual charging base that takes advantage of this technology. We are talking about the MagSafe Duo, a charging base that allows us jointly charge our iPhone and Apple Watch.
This charging base, which is priced at 149 euros, is still not available in the market, but according to a Swiss retailer, it could arrive on December 21, so if we have not been able to take advantage of Black Friday or Cyber Monday to buy our Christmas gifts, we may be lucky.
Digitec Galaxus (via Apple Insider), the Swiss retailer is already accepting reservations for the MagSafe Duo but it will not be until next December 21 when they will begin shipping, at least as announced. For now, in the Apple Store we still can't reserve it, although if that date is correct, it is likely that next week we will already have the opportunity to reserve it.
It should be remembered that at the 149 euros that the base costs, we have to add a charger, since it is not included. If we want to charge both the iPhone and the Apple Watch to their maximum power, we have to buy a charger greater than 20W, since otherwise the iPhone will charge at 11W and not at 15W that if the MagSafe charging base allows that does not include support for the Apple Watch.
