We were all waiting for the keyboard disassembly of this new MacBook Pro 2019 that were launched a few days ago on the Apple website and in which there was talk of an improvement in the butterfly keyboard that seems to be giving so many headaches to some MacBook users.
In my case I always comment the same thing and that is that I have been using this keyboard on a 12 ″ MacBook for two years and no problem but in any case I am aware that many users are having problems and proof of this is recent keyboard revisions in new versions and free repair programs opened by the company.
iFixit has the answer to our questions about butterfly keyboard improvements
There are no two without three and in this case even in iFixit they talk about the charm being the fourth time with these changes. The truth is that they do not understand either very well how it could be that this problem has not been solved for a long time so It seems more complicated than you might think.
What the iFixit guys see in this exploded view is that the changes on this new keyboard are quite subtle although they hope they can work. The material of the membrane that protects the lower part is nylon, so it is different from the previous model, they also believe that they have modified the metal fold of the key so this should be enough to notice an improvement.
Actually Apple does renew parts of these butterfly keyboards this year so they show interest and are aware of the error during these previous versions. On the rest of the exploded view there are not too many changes except for the new eight-core processor, but all the components are as always welded so the overall score for repairing the equipment is 1 out of 10, as always.
