The new Microsoft Edge update brings a couple of interesting news

Edge

Many are the browsers Internet that you can install on your Mac. Most do basically the same thing: be able to access web pages, and use the search engine. But you can always find that detail that makes a certain one your favorite.

A good alternative to Safari is Microsoft Edge. It is basically a Chrome, but controlled by Microsoft, not Google. Its grace is that it is compatible with the entire library of Chrome extensions. If for any reason you must use one of them, you are no longer required to have the Google browser installed. Now version 89 of Microsoft Edge has just come out, with a couple of interesting news.

Microsoft just officially launched the version 89 of its popular Google Chrome-based Edge browser, bringing long-lasting vertical tabs to the Mac for the first time.

All the vertical tabs are intended to make more efficient use of screen real estate, and are often very popular with users browsing 16: 9 aspect ratio displays. Users can click vertical tabs to switch between them and optionally group related tabs.

In addition to vertical tabs, Microsoft Edge 89 includes a new way to view the historial navigation. Now when users go to history it opens as a lightweight dropdown from the toolbar instead of opening full page view in settings.

The idea is that it allows users to easily search, open and manage their history without stopping browsing. For users who prefer the original style, this dropdown can also be docked to the right side of the browser window as a panel cuisine.

The new version 89 of the browser will update automatically if you already have it installed on your Mac, or you can download it for free from the site websites from Microsoft Edge.
