As with the macOS version High Sierra the version iOS 11 and tvOS 11 public beta have also been released. The improvements focus directly on bug fixes, typical system stability improvements and performance improvements, so we are not looking at an update with major changes from the previous beta version either. The way to install the public beta version on fourth generation Apple TVs first is simple:
- We start the Apple TV and go to Settings> System> Software update
- We activate the option Receive updates from public betas
- We go into Settings> System> Software update> Update software
- Click Download and install to install the latest version of tvOS 11 public beta and that's it.

Apple continues to launch the beta versions of its different OS and in this case having the public betas available allows users to enjoy the news before they arrive officially, but we also have to warn that they are betas and these may contain bugs or incompatibilities with some applications so you have to be careful with them and above all do not install them if you are not sure about it.
