We already know how they spend them in iFixit ... while most of us mortals receive a new device from Apple that we have just bought, we treat it with truly exceptional care even when removing its packaging, the iFixit 'mechanics' they only think of grabbing the screwdriver and getting involved in disassembling the device as soon as possible to see what hardware and news they hide in their guts.

And this is precisely what they have done with the new MacBook Air 13-inch introduced barely a day ago at WWDC 2013. This new MacBook Air went on sale just after the end of Apple's keynote and at iFixit they already removed all the screws to show its interior.

Thanks to them, many of us, including myself, have seen how to disassemble a device that under normal conditions and more than anything because of how expensive they are, we would never dare to disassemble. But Let's see what are the main differences that Apple added for this new 13-inch MacBook Air.

In principle, it is worth highlighting the larger battery for the equipment, the previous version of the Air mounted a 7,3 V and 6.700mAh battery while the new version has a 7,6 V and 7.150 mAh installed, for this the battery is a little bigger in size too. This issue of the battery is really important because from Apple they assure that the New Air is capable of enduring a full working day, about 12 hours thanks also to the new Haswell processor.

Another important change for this renewed MacBook Air is the size of the SSD module since due to the little space available for the hardware, it is a little smaller than in the previous model. They also observed that GPU is attached to the motherboard and the improved heat sinks.
