This application may not be very well known, but I assure you that it will surprise you from minute one you try it. Soulver is an application that can be defined as a hybrid between calculator and text editor. Now it has been updated to version 3.3 introducing new features that make it a very versatile tool.
Soulver 3.3 adds a new fast function and time zone conversion.
So far the app Soulver for Mac it was a calculator with text editor functions. With this new update we can talk about a very complete application with functions that we can use daily.
Right now this new update, 3.3 adds a quick function called "QuickSoulver" and a new time zone conversion function among other novelties.
With this new version we can access to perform the calculations without having to start the application. We can do them by invoking the operation through the same way we use Spotlight on the Mac.
Other novelties about the quick function, which we find in this new version, are:
- With the new QuickSoulver feature, this appears on other windows, so you can use it from anywhere on macOS
- You can access QuickSoulver from the menu bar. To do this we must enable this function from the preferences panel.
- Global hotkey, which we must also configure in the settings panel.
The other great novelty is the time zone conversion using the natural language of the App. A language that is what has made this application so versatile. In addition you can also work with dates, times, percentages and proportions.
The application can be downloaded for free and has a 30-day trial period after which we will have to pay about 35 euros in exchange for it. Requires macOS 10.14 or later to work perfectly.
