Test Flight platform could land on macOS next week

Test Flight for macOS

With the confirmation of the date of celebration of a new keyonte, the third in three months (it seems that Apple has taken a liking to this type of recorded presentations), they have begun to emerge the first rumors of what Apple could present in addition to the new range of Mac computers with ARM processors.

This rumor comes from The Verifier, who claims that Apple could bring the Test Flight platform to macOS, an announcement that will be made next week at the same presentation event of the macOS range with Apple Silicon processors.

Test Flight is the platform for test beta applications that Apple makes available to iOS developers and that allows offering access to a closed group of users before they reach the iOS App Store. So far, Test Flight was only available on iOS in addition to Apple Watch and tvOS. If this release is finally confirmed, it could be a big change for the Mac App Store.

The Verifier claimed earlier in the year that Apple was working on a version of Test Flight for macOS, a version that would be announced at WWDC 2020 that was held in June, an announcement that as we all know did not occur. Now this media says that the new presentation date could be November 10, the date on which Apple will celebrate the last event of the year.

The possibility that Apple will launch Test Flight for macOS is more than possible, if we consider that last August, it updated the icon of the application for iOS with a design very similar to that found in macOS Big Sur, a version that will probably be released in its final version when the presentation event ends.
