Once again, we have to talk about documentaries with which Apple wants expand the offer of your video streaming service, where we can also find series, movies and television shows. The Cupertino-based company has commissioned two new documentaries that focus on showing the achievements made in the film industry by black men and women.
Specifically these are two documentaries. On the one hand we find Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Women in Hollywood and on the other Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Men in Hollywood. Each of the documentaries highlights both the role of women and men independently in the film industry.
Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Women in Hollywood it will focus on women (as the title indicates). Executive production is provided by the Oscar nominee Angela Bassett and Oscar winner Halle Berry.
This documentary will be Directed by by Shola Lynch where the groundbreaking work of past black actresses who paved the way for Bassett, Berry and so many others is "explored and highlighted."
The second documentary, Number One on the Call Sheet: Black Leading Men in Hollywood, and will follow the same idea than the former featuring "the stories and experiences of past black male actors who paved the way for Foxx, Hart, and others."
This other documentary is produced by Jamie Foxx and Kevin Hart will be directed by Hollywood Academy Oscar winner Reginald Hudlin.
