This is how Mail works in the new macOS High Sierra

For all those users who have installed the new version of macOS as well as those who have not, I am going to start with a series of articles in which I am going to show you small changes that have been made to the system that may go unnoticed.

Of course, Apple has greatly improved the system by adding new functions, but it has not only made those improvements and there are small details that make the system work in a more fluid and flatter way.

One of those modifications comes from the hand of Email, post manager that comes standard in the system and that has always been at the center of all the messages that arrive on our Mac. In this sense, one of the things that have been modified is that now, when we work in full screen and want to send a new message, a floating window leaving the rest of the screen darkened as you can see in the following image.

Now, in macOS High Sierra 10.13, when we invoke write a new email, the window is automatically placed on split screen, similar to what happens in the iOS interface. Thus the drag and drop gesture is much more comfortable and the creation of emails is much more fluid. This makes us wonder if Apple is gradually bringing together the macOS and iOS systems in order to produce future products that make use of chips with processors created by the company itself.
