Tim Cook and other Apple executives participate in the San Francisco Gay Pride Parade

The city of San Francisco hosted the Gay Pride March on Sunday, one of the oldest and most massive celebrations in the country. Since its inception in 1970, the San Francisco Pride has become one of the largest and best known vindictive acts of the LGTB collective in the United States, an act that symbolizes the freedom of people to express themselves in their sexual identity.

As every year, Apple employees flocked to the annual parade to the Gay Pride march in San Francisco (San Francisco Pride), and where one more year, several Apple executives, apart from Tim Cook, made an appearance, such as Lisa Jackson and Jay Blahnik.

Most of the employees attended this march with commemorative t-shirts of the event with the company logo based in Cupertino. Although the number of employees who attended this annual meeting has not been officially confirmed, initial estimates say that it could amount to about 1.000 people.

Apple has participated in the San Francisco Price actively during the last years, and where Tim Cook has always been around. Apple has always supported the LGBT community as well as being one of the first American companies to extend benefits to same-sex couples.

The open philosophy of Apple, and especially of Tim Cook, towards this group we can also find it in your products such as the recent launch of the Pride Band in addition to an exclusive wait for the Apple Watch that we could see at the last 2018 Developer Conference that the company held on June 5.
