As you probably already know, Tim Cook, as CEO of Apple, is usually quite supportive and for this very reason he usually tries to take action against important problems, both locally in the United States and globally, and this is exactly what he has done. recently, as it is trying to help multitudes of immigrants to gain legal access to the United States and to have jobs.
And it is that, as we have been able to know, it seems that recently he has joined a coalition, through which they have sent a letter trying to request that the so-called "Dreamers" (or dreamers in Spanish), can legally access this country, and also can have a stable job.
Tim Cook tries to help "Dreamers" to enter the United States legally
As we have been able to know thanks to CNBC, apparently recently Tim Cook would have been added to a list of great CEOs of other companies, including those of Amazon, Facebook, Google or Twitter, for example. In this case, we are talking about a coalition in order to ask the US government to start a reform in the immigration processes soon, trying to avoid the current bipartisan law that prevents some 700.000 people in the country from having a job and being there legally.
For this, as we mentioned, they have sent a letter, and also Tim Cook has proudly announced that about 250 Apple employees are "Dreamers", that is, people whose parents are illegal immigrants in the United States. This is part of the content of the letter in question:
“With the reopening of the federal government and the alleged resumption of negotiations on immigration and border security, now is the time for Congress to pass a law that provides dreamers with the security they need. These are our friends, neighbors and co-workers, and they shouldn't have to wait for court cases to be decided to determine their fate when Congress can act now, ”they wrote in the letter.
“We have seen time and again that the vast majority of Americans of all political backgrounds agree that we must protect the Dreamers of deportation, ”the letter says. "American employers and hundreds of thousands of Dreamers are counting on you to pass permanent, bipartisan legislative protection of the Dreamers without forther delay."

In this way, as you may have seen, from Apple actively support immigration in the United States, and try to make everything can be legal in this regard and easier for immigrantsWell, the truth is that the government does not make it easy for them, at all. In this way, little by little we will see if this letter sent to the country's congress has some kind of effect or not, although taking into account the greats who fight for it, it would be expected that the response would be positive.
