Donald Trump seems that it has never been believed that climate change is a reality that affects us all and amid the rumors that have been circulating in recent weeks, rumors that affirm that the United States could withdraw its support for this commitment, several directors of the Major American tech companies have contacted Donald Trump. Last Tuesday, Tim Cook contacted Donald Trump to ask the president of the United States not to abandon the pact on the climate, a pact to which 195 countries have committed. Thanks to this pact, emissions of gases that cause the greenhouse effect will be reduced, which in turn will reduce global warming.
In the pact reached at the last climate change conference, the United States promised to reduce carbon emissions by 26-28% in the next decade. Coal as an energy source is one of the most polluting elements in the world. Apple has been doing everything possible for several years so that the companies that manufacture the different components of their products do not obtain their energy from these types of sources, something common in China.
Don't know which way Paris will go, but I've done all I can to advise directly to POTUS, through others in WH & via councils, that we remain

But Trump, who opposes the "draconian rules of the climate" as stated during his campaign, announced yesterday that this week he will make a decision on the matter. For his part Elon Musk, who is part of Trump's advisory cabinet, affirms that he has done everything possible to try to convince Trump not to abandon the United States commitment at the last climate change conference held in Paris. In early May, the CEOs of the 30 largest companies in the United States sent a letter warning him of the negative consequences for both the United States and the rest of the world if the company abandons this commitment.
