Do you know I'm about to finally have a MacBook Pro Retina with Touch Bar 13-inch? I do not know how many times I have said it already, while I have been telling you the accessories that I have been buying for it. If I remember correctly, I told you that a friend who bought it before asked me to find him an external hard drive to be able to store by USB-C. At the time he did not want to spend a lot of money and I proposed a very cheap option.
However, I work a lot with the MacBook and I am always from here to there with the laptop so I am interested in having a solid disk of a moderate capacity and be resistant to everyday rattle without compromising my information.
As you might already know, all current Apple laptops have USB-C ports and it is that those of Cupertino have taken as standard of the next years and generations of computers that port. Well, on Apple's own website I have discovered a disk that, above that is proposed by Apple, is from the SanDisk brand, a renowned brand of hard drives.
The fact is that by $237,75 I have a hard drive 480GB SSD Extreme 510 model, a model that withstands impacts and is shaped like a rhombus. Its connection is by USB - C and it has a kind of opening at one of its ends so that you can carry it hanging even inside a backpack, one of those that are prepared for everything.
If you want to know more about this album you can visit the Apple website. Now I get to work to see if I can find it in a physical store here in the Canary Islands, because we are on another planet for Apple and they do not deliver.
You will tell us… I'm the same!
Until they understand that they are not "hard drives" ...
it should have been usb type c on both sides to be perfect
