Since the arrival of Apple's MacBook 12 ″ with the practically only USB Type C port in its chassis, there are many comments and news related to this issue but above all because of the issue that Apple did not add another port on the machine since in reality the Type C is today one of the benchmarks marked by all manufacturers of components for devices. You don't have to look far to find several mobile devices with this Type C and it is clear that the trend to unify a connection standard you can do the rest on our computers and smartphones of the near future.

Apple released the 12 ″ MacBook this year and many thought it was wrong with the new USB Type C port, but in reality what seemed and seems like a mistake is not to put a couple of them in the machine, since the USB Type C is considered today as the port of upcoming devices.

My colleague Miguel Juncos, wrote an article in which we saw what we win or we lose when acquiring the new 12 ″ MacBook launched by Apple, and taking into account that it is a very personal decision, the new Mac seems to be having a good reception among users. In addition to this, manufacturers have their eyes fixed on this connection or even on a second version of it, greatly improved in the data transfer speed up to doubling the 5Gbps of the current.

Be that as it may, USB Type C is a very present reality for manufacturers and it was not long ago that the Chinese smartphone, OnePlus 2 with the aforementioned port, was presented, something that indicates that all manufacturers are looking in the same direction.
