Video summary of the construction of Apple Park in the last year

As the months go by, there is less and less time left for the official opening of the new facilities where Apple will carry out all its activity. These new facilities, dubbed Apple Park, have been under construction for two years, a construction that has had a total cost of about 500 million dollars, counting the amount of the land price, a land that belonged to HP. The initial idea to create these gigantic facilities came from Steve Jobs, who in collaboration with Jony Ive designed this spaceship that will soon begin to receive the first workers, in a moving process that will last about 6 months, according to the first forecasts. .

In the video that we can enter just above, we can find the progress of the construction of the facilities. Throughout this video we can see how the works of the main facilities called Spaceship, the entrance tunnel to the facilities, the building that will concentrate most of the company's R&D, the gym for the employees, the parking area that will have space for more than 10.000 vehicles, the atrium and of course the gigantic mountain of earth that has been extracted throughout the two years that the construction of this spacecraft has lasted .

As we showed you a few days ago, the works in Apple Park continue at a good pace, both during the day and at night, some works that should have already been completed according to Apple's initial plans, but as usual the works has accumulated a large number of delays due to differences contractors have found with Apple, differences that have sometimes taken longer than usual to resolve. Fortunately, in the absence of the final touches, the works will soon be completed and Apple will open Apple Park to the public.
