They find a vulnerability in Safari within the hacker event Pwn2Own

It is not the first time that a bug has been discovered in this conference, exploit or failure in the operating system of the Mac, Safari browser, iOS and the rest of current OS. In this case it is a discovery by which it is possible access the Touch Bar on Macs using the Safari browser.

It seems that this is not the first time that this has happened and it is that in 2016 we already saw a similar failure caused by the Touch Bar of these MacBook Pro. In any case it is not a major problem since all they have managed to do is eType remotely on the Mac Touch Bar and control shortcuts.

On the other hand, it must be made clear that they have not focused exclusively on macOS and its failures, Security breaches have also been found in the rest of the operating systems through their software, such as Adobe, Microsoft, Linux and Ubuntu.

In this event, all kinds of failures are searched to access the system and then share it with "those affected" so that they can solve the problem as soon as possible. In these editions, the discoverers of these vulnerabilities are usually awarded in addition to obtaining the recognition of the community hacker and of the affected company itself that is in charge of solving the failure. In this case, Apple may launch the next version of macOS High Sierra with the problem solved.
