We keep talking about Apple TV +. The Cupertino-based company has published its Apple TV YouTube channel + on first trailer for the movie Swan Song, a film that has Glenn Close and Mahershala Ali as main protagonists and that will be released next 17 of December.
Swan Song is a genre drama set in the future about a father and husband who are introduced to the chance of surviving a terminal illness. The futuristic drama shows us how far someone will go, and how much they are willing to sacrifice for the people they love.
At Press release where Apple has released this first trailer, we can read:
Set in the near future, "Swan Song" is a powerful and emotional journey told through the eyes of Cameron (Mahershala Ali), a loving husband and father diagnosed with a terminal illness to whom his doctor (Glenn Close) presents a alternative solution to protect your family from pain.
As Cameron grapples with whether or not to alter his family's destiny, he learns more about life and love than he ever imagined. "Swan Song" explores how far we will go, and how much we are willing to sacrifice, to make life happier for the people we love.
The movie is packed with award-winning actors various awards and nominations from the Hollywood Academy as Mahershala Ali, who won the Oscar for Moonlight y Green Book in the Best Supporting Actor category, Naomie Harris (Oscar-nominated for Moonlight) y Glen Close (with two Academy Award nominations for The world according to Garp y Reunion) among others. Swang Swong is written and directed by Benjamin Cleary.
