We tested the Lululook Ouluoqi strap, an interesting strap for the Apple Watch

The good thing about the new Apple Watch models is that they are all compatible with accessories and straps from previous versions and therefore we can continue looking at those straps that are not official but are really worth it.

In this case, the Chinese firm Lululook presents us your Ouluoq strap, an interesting model in terms of the quality of the materials. This 316L stainless steel strap has a butterfly clasp and a design that really surprises with how it looks like the Apple original.

Manufacturing materials and design

As you can see in the images, the design looks a lot like Apple's link strap, the material used to manufacture is stainless steel 316L and in the days that I have been using it on my Apple Watch Series 0 I can say that it does not have a scratch. Clarify that on the Apple Watch I have a protective sheet on the screen and that is why it looks like this, it is not that I mistreat the watch as some tell me, although it really is 3 years old and this will be the change.

The good thing is that eThis 42mm strap will fit the newly launched 4mm Apple Watch Series 44, so I'll keep using it until I have the new model. The design of this strap is great and the way in which we can adjust its measurement is simple and fast.

Simple wrist adjustment

As I said earlier, the way in which we can adjust the strap to our wrist size is really simple and fast, on the inside it has a small closure that simply by pressing and stretching the excess links come out. To place some more simply we have to align the link and lightly tighten  in this way it makes a small click and is fully adjusted. It is very easy to adjust it and I can say that in the case of the 42mm model it is quite large, so it will work for any user.

The only negative thing I can say about the strap and that I add in the final points of the review is that removing links costs a little more to place in the watch case, we have to insert the two points to the watch at the same time since it does not rotates, but this is something that happens with rigid straps and therefore not an alarming flaw either but it's good to meet you. In general, the design is the same as the official Apple link strap, so we can confirm that it is really recommended if you plan to buy a similar style strap to the official Apple strap.
