The operating system of Apple TVs from the 4th generation, known as tvOS, begins to be refined and increasingly facilitate user interaction with the device connected to the television. Over time it is making a niche in the world of home entertainment, to compete with the veteran consoles, or the streaming video services of several competitors.
Versatility and versatility is one of its strengths, since the same applies to a user who starts playing video game consoles, but also allows play content in streaming from your favorite content provider.
However, Apple is constantly working on the operating system, to improve the management part of the system as a whole. Today we have known, within the version for developers, two new functions that improve the user experience.
Share with direct links the applications available on Apple TV. Every day there are more applications available. This makes searching for a specific application a bit daring. For developers, that we can access a specific application through a direct link, greatly facilitates the use of said App. Therefore, we gain in speed and ease of use. This function is known as iTunes Link Maker
preview. Now we can see the different versions of an application for each of the different Apple operating systems.
On the other hand, Apple announces the automatic download of applications on Apple TV, if we have it configured and download the application from iOS. This interaction between devices is available to the user from remote versions of iOS, but until now it only allowed interaction between iOS devices.
With these improvements Apple leaves an Apple TV very manageable, facing the next Christmas purchases, being one of the star products for these dates due to price and performance.
