What to do if you get a verification error in the Mavericks installer

INSTALLER ERROR

Not long ago, millions of users have found themselves in the situation of having to install, always if they agree, the new update of the apple system the OSX Mavericks.

To be able to update, just enter the Mac App Store and start downloading the installer after entering the credentials of our Apple ID. The case that we are discussing today is an error that several users are having with the installer once the download has been completed.

As you know, when you give it to update, the Mac App Store begins to download to the computer from Apple's servers an installer that contains the new system itself. Once the installer is finished downloading is when we have to execute it and from there begin the installation that according to the Mac model will take between 25-45 min. There are users who are reporting that just when they give it to install and after entering the administrator password, the system reports that the download cannot be verified or the file has been corrupted during the download. Those users have downloaded the full installer again and have the same problem again. If you are in this situation, we inform you that the problem may not be in the installer but rather that you have a problem in the Mac dates.

DATES

The solution then, to this small error that can give you more than one headache, is to go to System Preferences and configure the time so that it remains updated with the Apple NTP server, so that the date and time are always correct. You will see that after doing it you will be able to run the installer without problem.
