The stories of the cutest animated band, The Peanuts or as we know them around here, Snoopy, will have a new entry on Apple TV +. Who are you, Charlie Brown?, a new documentary that takes a look at the origins of the Peanuts and its creator Charles M. Schulz. Its premiere will be at the end of this month of June and is preceded by a few documentaries and series already released on Apple TV + on this subject.
Snoopy in space was one of the first series to arrive with the official launch of Apple TV +. In this installment, Snoopy and Woodstock head to NASA with the goal of becoming astronauts. This wonderful band of continually seeking adventure friends has its origin in the mind and hands of Charles M. Schulz who is considered one of the most influential cartoonists of all time, being chosen by fellow professionals.
This new installment of Apple TV + wants to tell us about the global popularity of Peanuts using an animated story intertwined that follows Charlie Brown as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Who are you, Charlie Brown? comes from Imagine Documentaries and is narrated by Lupita Nyong'o. The special will feature interviews with notable friends, family, cartoonists and fans of the iconic comic strip to create a portrait of the Peanuts creator and his legacy. Jean Schulz, Drew Barrymore, Al Roker, Kevin Smith, Paul Feig, Noah Schnapp and more will participate in the documentary.
It will premiere on June 25. Only on Apple TV + so it is one of those premieres that we can tell later saying that it has counted and has helped Apple to increase the number of subscribers to the entertainment division of the American company that continues to bet on quality.
