We are all clear that Xiaomi is characterized by designs quite similar to those of Apple, this happens on mobile devices and also on computers from the Chinese firm. As we can see today in the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the company has literally copied the design of the MacBook Pro adding some USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, 2 USB C ports and card reader.
This is something that happens constantly in Xiaomi and that is why they call it the Chinese Apple, but obviously not everything is the design and although it is true that it is an important part in these teams the software part is for most of us equally or more important what a pretty design. In this case we are talking about Windows versus macOS, something that has no color for us ...
The big difference in these cases, in addition to the different ports that this recently presented Mi Notebook Pro adds, is also the interior of the equipment and is that laptops outside of Apple have powerful hardware specifications, even more powerful than the PCs themselves. Apple, but thanks to the OS, they do not require this powerful hardware to work perfectly. Anyway, we also have the possibility to choose a MacBook with a powerful processor and hardware, but this is left to professionals since most of us with a less powerful Mac can do all the tasks we need.
But let's see the specifications of these new Mi Notebook Pro. The screen is 15,6 inches and it is protected with the Gorilla Glass glass, they have, like Apple's MacBook, thermal cooling that avoids the use of fans and adds an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics and a 25 GB SSD. It also has its own fingerprint reader for unlocking the laptop, adds Harman Infinity speakers with Dolby Atmos and the fast charging system which they claim is capable of half-filling the battery in just half an hour.
Price of the Mi Notebook Pro
An important point is the price of these equipment and is that they are not really as cheap as many of us believe in comparison to a Mac. Here we leave the prices of these new Xiaomi laptops in which we see how the entry model starts at 717 euros:

Xiaomi itself confirms that "He likes Apple's design and is therefore inspired by its products", This is something that we have been seeing for a long time but even the design of the wallpaper is similar to that of Apple on Macs. The conclusion is that we are facing a good team, with interesting specifications, good design and a moderate price, but as always we are left with macOS compared to other current systems.
